- Information Service Center for Individuals with Disabilities
- ISCID is a 330 square meter-wide facility which provides a variety of library services for people with disabilities.
The center also functions as a model facility that public libraries can benchmark to establish their own facility for those with disabilities.
- Major Functions
- Providing customized services appropriate for individual needs
- Giving instruction on how to utilize assistive technology devices as well as general library services
- Offering consultation on the installation and management of ISCID-equivalent facilities appropriate for each public library
- Allowing the individuals with disabilities to use face-to-face reading rooms, video viewing rooms, information search devices, seminar rooms, and reading seats

Lending a variety of assistive technology devices
- For users with visual impairments
- closed circuit television, braille notetakers, screen reading software, screen magnification programs, etc
- For users with hearing impairments
- vibrating chairs, video telephone, hearing aid, bone conduction systems, webcams, electronic information displays, etc
- For users with orthopedic impairments
- adjustable desks and tables, special keyboard, special mouse, automatic page turner, elevator type electric wheelchair, etc
